SQUARE PRINT SHIRT

I was looking forward to show you this outfit with my new square print shirt from Style London. Stop thinking that I am crazy enough to go out in the middle of July with long sleeves and moccasins, it’s just that I took those photos some time ago, but I didn’t had the opportunity to publish them yet. Once again, I wore my destroyed high waisted shorts, I can’t imagine a summer without them haha

Estaba deseando enseñaros este look con mi camisa de cuadros de Style London. No penséis que estoy loca por ir con manga larga y mocasines con el calor que hace, es que las tenía pendientes de publicar y no quería dejar de enseñaros este look jeje. Como no, volví a caer en la tentación de usar mis shorts vaqueros rotos de tiro alto, son my must en verano, ¿no os parece difícil crear looks sin usarlos? Jaja, ¡a mi casi imposible!

FINLAND DAY 3 – MIKKELI

Our third day of the trip, we rented a car to explore the area of the Lakes of Finland, did you know that Finland has 187.888 Lakes?, is incredible, it’s surrounded by a stunning nature and landscapes that seems postcards, I hope you can appreciate it in my following posts :)After almost 3 hours on the road, we reached Mikkeli. We stayed at Hotel Uusikuu, (very functional and cheap, and with views to the forest that are priceless). Most of the photographs that I show you today are from Kenkävero, an area with fairytale cottages, gardens filled with amazing flowers, a pier to see the sunset… we spent so much time there, taking pictures and enjoying the views, and then we walk around the surrounding area of Lake Saimaa (the largest in Finland) to end the day, we went to the city center to have dinner and play cards (to be more exact, at a Mexican restaurant in which we almost die eating spicy food </3)

For this journey, I chose a comfortable and simple outfit, the final touch? my new red bandana scarf, ^_^. How do you like to wear your bandanas? they are super trendy this season! 🙂

P.S: Important, if you are going to rent a car in Finland, do it by internet, we save ourselves the amount of €200!.

Nuestro tercer día del viaje, alquilamos un coche para empezar a recorrer la zona de los lagos de Finlandia, ¿sabíais que Finlandia tiene nada más y nada menos que ¡187.888 lagos!?, es increíble, le rodea una naturaleza impresionante y unos paisajes de postal, que espero podáis aprecias en mis próximos posts :)Después de casi 3 horas de viaje, llegamos a Mikkeli. Allí nos alojamos en el Hotel Uusikuu, (muy funcional y barato y con unas vistas al bosque que no tienen precio). La gran parte de las fotografías que os enseño hoy son de Kenkävero, una zona con casitas de cuento, jardines envidiables repletos de flores, un muelle donde ver el atardecer… pasamos gran parte del día allí, haciendo fotos y disfrutando de las vistas, y luego recorrimos los alrededores del Lago Saimaa (el más grande de Finlandia) y acabamos cenando y jugando a las cartas en el centro de Mikkeli (para ser más exactos, en un restaurante Mexicano en el cual casi morimos comiendo picante </3)

Para este día, elegí un look cómodo y sencillo, y al más puro estilo de los San Fermines, estrené mi nuevo pañuelo – bandana rojo, haha ^_^. ¿Vosotros habéis recuperado de vuestros armarios las bandanas? están super de moda esta temporada y hay un montón de formas distintas de llevarlas, ¿cual es vuestra forma favorita? ¡poco a poco os enseñaré las mías! 🙂

P.D: Importante, si vas a alquilar un coche en Finlandia, hazlo por internet, nosotras nos ahorramos nada más y nada menos que ¡200€!.

FINLAND DAY 2 – HELSINKI

Already established in Finland, we started our second day in Helsinki visiting the whole city (or as much as we could, hehe).I was looking forward to show you this Glamour White Playsuit from Lookbook Store. It arrived just the day before I started my trip, so it was the destiny to wear it as soon as posible, haha. You will see that in the pictures I’m wearing two different backpacks, they are both from my beloved sister, the square one, it’s from Charles & Keith, which it is especially cute… <3, don’t you think?

As I always do in my trip-posts, I will detail you step by step our visits, so it can help you if you are thinking to visit Helsinki. Our hotel, the Holliday Inn, was situated in the heart of the city, so we could visit everything just by walking. We started the route towards Esplanadi Boulevard, where are the most luxurious shops, restaurants and hotels; until we reach the Market Square, very cozy, full of places to eat Finnish food and buy some souvenirs. In the market square it’s located the most important harbor, so we bought some berries, (they are delicious over there, and so typical too), and we took a ferry to reach the island of Suomenlinna, an old military fortress, (although it is the first thing that everyone recommend to visit in Helsinki, to be honest, we didn’t like it very much </3). Once we were back, as it couldn’t be other way, we ate in the harbor, (in Finland you can eat healthy and delicious easily, but expensive too…!haha). After lunch, we reached the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, and the Senate Square, where is located the beautiful white Catholic Cathedral, with its endless stairs. We wanted to take a walk in the famous design district, but since it was Sunday it was all closed :(. In Exchange, we found a massive vintage market (although I didn’t buy anything, a girl was faster than me and bought a wonderful denim jacket with ethnic details for just 5€!).

Ya asentadas en Finlandia, aprovechamos nuestro segundo día en Helsinki para visitar toda la ciudad (o todo lo que nos dio tiempo ^_^).Tenía muchísimas ganas de enseñaros este mono de pantalón corto blanco de Lookbook store, que me llegó justo el día anterior de irme de viaje, así que era el destino ponérmelo cuanto antes jeje. Veréis que en las fotos llevo dos mochilas diferentes jeje, las dos son de mi querida hermana, la mochila cuadrada de Charles & Keith, es especialmente bonita… <3, ¿no os parece?

Una vez más, os detallo nuestras visitas paso a paso por si estáis pensando visitar Helsinki. Nuestro hotel, el Holliday Inn, estaba situado en el corazón de la ciudad, así que pudimos visitar todo andando sin problemas. Empezamos la ruta hacia Avenida Esplanadi, donde están las tiendas, restaurantes y hoteles más lujosos de la ciudad; hasta llegar a la Plaza del Mercado, muy acogedora, con sus puestos de frutas, comida y artesanía. En la Plaza del Mercado está el puerto más importante, así que nos compramos unas frutas del bosque, (como si fueran pipas jaja, las de allí están buenísimas y son super típicas también), y nos cogimos un barco para ir hasta la isla Suomenlinna, una antigua fortaleza militar, (aunque es la primera cosa que todos recomiendan ver en Helsinki, nosotras nos lo hubiéramos saltado, ni fu ni fa, sinceramente </3). Al volver comimos en los puestos del puerto (¡en Finlandia te hartas de comer pesado y verduras, y está tan rico….! y caro, también es un rato eso si…) y llegamos a la Catedral Ortodoxa Uspenski, y a la plaza del senado, donde está la preciosa Catedral Católica blanca, con sus infinitas escalinatas. Quisimos dar una vuelta por el famosísimo barrio del diseño, pero al ser domingo estaba todo cerrado 🙁 . Eso si, a cambio, nos encontramos con un mercadillo vintage gigante en una explanada de césped, muy muy curioso, (aunque no compré nada, se me adelantaron comprando una maravillosa cazadora vaquera con detalles étnicos ¡por 5€!).

¡Un besote enorme! El próximo post del viaje empezaré a enseñaros la zona de los lagos de Finlandia, que no tiene desperdicio… 🙂 ¡espero que os guste!

FINLAND – DAY 1, HELSINKI

Let’s get started with the diary of my trip to Finland!! The first stop was Helsinki, as it could not be otherwise. Since the first day we didn’t do much, I had to wait (impatiently) for my sister who came from Dubai, today, I only show you the photos of my look.Surprisingly, we had such a good weather, so I could use my ugly shoes, (which actually I had just brought for my sauna moment, hehe). I also wore my new long green blouse, using it as a vest, do you like how it looks open?

¡Empezamos con el diario de mi viaje por Finlandia! La primera parada fue Helsinki, como no podía ser de otra manera. Hoy, para arrancar, os traigo solo las fotos de mi look, ya que el primer día no hicimos mucho, tenía que esperar (impacientemente) a que llegará mi hermana de Dubai y quisimos descansar para poder hacer un intensivo al día siguiente ^_^Sorprendentemente, hizo un tiempazo y pude usar mis ugly shoes, (que en realidad solo llevaba para ir a las saunas jeje). Aproveche también este día para estrenar mi blusa larga verde, usándola de chaleco, ¿qué os parece cómo queda abierta?

Un besote enorme!!

AMBASSADOR OF LA REDOUTE – BLOGGERS TIME

As you already know, one of the most exciting things that has happened to me regarding the blog, has been to be selected as one of the two ambassadors of La Redoute Spain, together with Iria, from the blog My blueberry nights. We lived during our trip to Paris an unforgettable experience along with the rest of the ambassadors of the other European countries.

A team of stylists checked our style and made us choose between two items, which would be the base of the outfit that we had to complete ourselves. Here you can see our entire selection. I chose a dotted blouse with a bow at the neck, what do you think of the rest of the look?! Once we passed by trough makeup and hairstyling, (sounds well haha, I feel, at least, as Carrie Bradshow, saying that, haha), a photographer was waiting for us to get the best of us, under the watchful eyes of a lot of people who came to visit the press day. And finally, we were led to a quick interview to know us a little better, I leave you the video! :)Iria and I were sooo nervous, but honestly, it’s so nice to work with such professional people, from the team of makeup artists, the stylists, the girls of the organization, the photographer… all were in perfect synchronization, and their main objective was to make us feel comfortable and to have a good time. But none of this would have been possible without Jemi, our direct contact from the beginning, and Manu who relied on me, I want to give a special thank you to both of them, one of those thank you that included a huge hug, I really wish everyone work like them 🙂 . And of course to my lovely Iria, who made my trip, I’m so happy to lived this experience with her, we here both in the same direction, and we enjoy it as kids every step, laughs, nervousness, hugs… <3

Como sabéis, una de las cosas más emocionantes que me ha pasado respecto al blog, ha sido ser elegida como una de las dos embajadoras de La Redoute España, junto con Iria, del blog My blueberry nights. Juntas vivimos durante nuestro viaje a Paris una experiencia inolvidable junto al resto de embajadoras del resto de países europeos.Un equipo de estilistas habían analizado nuestro estilo y nos hicieron elegir entre dos prendas, que serían la base del outfit que luego tendríamos que completar nosotras mismas, aquí podéis ver toda nuestra selección de prendas. Yo elegí una blusa con estampado de puntos y con un lazo en el cuello, ¡a ver que os parece el resto del look! ^_^. Una vez pasadas por maquillaje y peluquería, (que bien suena ehh, me siento, por lo menos, Carrie Bradshow, diciendo esa frase jaja), un fotógrafo nos estaba esperando para sacar lo mejor de nosotras, bajo la mirada atenta de un montón de gente que venía a ver el press day. Y para terminar, nos hicieron una mini entrevista para conocernos un poco mejor, ¡os dejo el video! 🙂

Iria y yo estabamos bassstante nerviosas, para que engañarnos jajaa, pero la verdad es que da gusto trabajar con gente tan profesional, desde el equipo de maquilladores, las estilistas, las chicas de la organización, el fotógrafo… todos iban en perfecta sincronización y su principal objetivo era que nos sintiéramos cómodas y nos divirtiéramos. Pero nada de esto habría sido posible sin Jemi que ha sido nuestro contacto directo desde el principio, y Manu que confió en mi, a ellos especialmente les quiero dar un gracias especial, de esos con achuchón incluido, ojalá todo el mundo trabajara como ellos :). Y por supuesto a mi querida Iria, con la que compartí esta pedazo de experiencia, las dos nos compenetramos perfectamente y nos lo pasamos como unas enanas disfrutando de cada momento, nervios, risas, abrazos…. <3
